I like to stop for wildflowers.
There was every color of the rainbow.
Lots of flowers.
Lots of interesting abandoned buildings, too.
I try to stop and read historical markers, too. I was hoping to find some stuff about the Blackhawk War. The marker in Boaz has to be about the lamest one I have ever read. The highlighted history didn't even happen there.
It's great country for riding though.
