Homemade 4 Speed Clutch Lock out tool (Jims 2245 )

So I decided to use my old clutch parts to build a clutch lock up tool. This should help me torque the compensator nut or the clutch hub nut. It's a similar to a JIMS 2245 tool.

First order of business to get the friction part off the friction plate. I have done it with an angle grinder before and that's a serious mess. Lummie thought heat would be the best way to loose things first. Hold your breath though.

The torch did a good job of loosening things up and the air scraper finished the job. We had to go back forth between the torch and the scrapper to get it all cleaned off.

Clamped together.

Welded up and done.
