Shovelhead oil change

I put a new main jet in the carb tonight, but tough to get decent pictures of that, so here's my first official oil change on the shovelhead.

Get the oil drain bucket.


Get a 7/16 wrench for the drain plug.


Get a funnel to catch oil and direct to the bucket.


Now it's flowing good.

Well I knew I would learn something; use a little funnel to get the oil to the other funnel before you make a mess on the floor. Next time.

Get a friend to level the bike so you get all the oil.

Put the plug back in and fill it up again.

Get your son to help pour too.

Good to go!
